The Youth Performing Arts School will host its open house Tuesday evening.
School musical is this week
Tickets for the school musical production of Singin’ in the Rain Jr. are available. The show is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22-24. The house opens at 6 p.m. Enter through the cafeteria entrance. Tickets are available at https://noems.ludus.com.

Unit Day
Unity Day is Wednesday, a day to build community by wearing orange for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to prevent bullying.
PTA Reflections Contest
This year’s theme for the PTA Reflections Contest is “I belong”. Students may enter in any or all the following categories: Dance, music, film, photography, literature, or visual arts. Entries are due Oct. 31 and must include an entry form with the artist’s statement.

Costume Day
Students can wear costumes on Halloween, Oct. 31. There will be a grade level costume contest with small prizes for staff and students. Facemasks and weapons or look-a-like weapons are not allowed. Costumes must adhere to the school dress code.

Chess Club meets Mondays from 3:30-4:30. If interested, students report to the library on Mondays and wait to be picked up.
