Field trip planned to Stage One Family Theatre to see Goosebumps: The Musical

LOUISVILLE, KY, AUGUST 21 – Sixth grade teacher Ayanna Logsdon plans to have a sixth grade field trip in October at Stage One Family Theatre to watch Goosebumps: The musical.
Goosebumps is a horror movie and book series about scary monsters in a town while some kids are trying to figure out how to discover them.
Logsdon picked Stage One for a couple reasons: She wanted a free field trip and she likes musicals. She also chose this field trip because sixth grade students are doing a book project on horror and mystery and thought it would help the students visualize a horror and mystery story.
The cost will be $5 to help cover buses, but Logsdon said, “We are fundraising later. Mrs. Singleton is gonna do a mum fundraiser and then we’re gonna do a T-shirt fundraiser cause we’re gonna plan other field trips in the school year.”
